China Waiting Child/Special Needs Adoption

International adoption programs have been the center of our fund raising efforts for the last few years because income from program and agency fees do not cover actual expenses of finding an appropriate adoptive home for each child. Programs such as the China Waiting Child program are central to our mission of providing a child with what only a loving family can offer….permanency and stability.

As long as these children are waiting, MAPS China Waiting Child adoption program needs to be there for them, and our humanitarian aid efforts in China are more important than ever. With so few placements occurring right now compared to past years, the futures of the children left behind and of the continuation of MAPS China Waiting Child adoption program depend more than ever on donors who want to make a difference.
