Recognizing the profound effects of orphanage life, MAPS Worldwide supports foster programs that provide life-changing benefit to a targeted number of children rather than cursory or transient aid to a larger number. These orphanage programs focus on the developmental, nutritional and special needs of the children in institutional care, with the goal of providing a brighter future for children who may otherwise face a lifetime of challenges.
