How You Can Help

In addition to adoption, humanitarian aid and residential/shelter programs remain a focal point of our mission here at MAPS. We care deeply about at-risk and struggling families here in the US and about the children who live in poverty or in orphanages overseas, and we work hard to make life better for these children and families both at home and abroad. But we can't do it without support from our MAPS community - our adoptive families, our committed donors, and our partner organizations whose tax-deductible contributions help us make the world a safer and healthier place.

Host an Event | Vehicle Donation | Shop | Learn More

Make a gift of stocks, bonds, or other securities. Once securities have been held for a required period of time, you can deduct the market value of the gift and will not have to pay capital gains on the appreciated value.

Make a bequest to MAPS.

Make a memorial or tribute gift in memory or honor of a loved one.

Donate through employee giving campaigns: United Way, CFC, and state employee campaigns. Ask your employer whether they offer a matching gift program. Check with the person who manages human resources at your organization.

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC): Find us listed as Adoption & Humanitarian Aid - MAPS (#10365) under Children's Charities of America Federation.

State Charity Campaigns: Find MAPS listed as Adoption & Humanitarian Aid - MAPS under the Children's Charities of America Federation.

United Way Campaigns (city, county, college): Designate your donation to MAPS. If we're not listed in your area, please ask if you can write us in.

Corporate Campaigns: Finds MAPS listed as Adoption & Humanitarian Aid - MAPS. If you don't find us, ask if you can designate to us through a write-in.

Host An Event
MAPS is prepared to support the following types of events (MAPS speaker available where appropriate):

Solicitation/Networking Events: Host an event in your home or club and declare your financial support of MAPS, ask guests to learn more about MAPS and to join our Circle of Friends by making a contribution and/or helping to
connect MAPS with potential corporate, financial, foundation or community
organization.

Special Events: Recruit a team of volunteers to organize small in-home or
outside venue ticketed type events such as golf tournaments, tea socials,
parties, concerts, etc.

Beneficiary Events: Garner support for MAPS as a beneficiary of funds from
events organized by school and/or community groups such as bingo or casino
nights, car washes, walk-a-thons, dances, etc. Some companies allow theme
days such as Jeans on Fridays where employees make a contribution to
sponsored non-profit organization.

Specialty Mailings: Show your support in a specialized mailing to friends,
business associates, or other list designed by you that endorses your support and introduces them to MAPS and invites them to learn more and to
join our Circle of Friends.

Refer people to this website
MAPS is working to expand its online presence though e-updates, increased focus on online giving, and networking support groups for members of the MAPS family. Whenever possible, refer your friends, coworkers and family to www.maps-worldwide.org.
